When replacing the Fuel Level Sending Unit that has a Metal Flange, with this new unit which has a Plastic Flange, it must be properly grounded. We offer the fuel pump for this application in 2 versions. The OE Service #17708-SH3-A36 is the complete in tank pump assembly. Bosch #69 619 and Kyosan #895091-9110 are kits that contain just the pump motor, pickup screen and misc. hardware, at a considerably lower cost. W/o Filter w/Fuel Gauge Sender This is the pump motor only and does not include the pickup screen, nor any additional brackets or housing components. The complete pump assembly is also available for some appplications. Refer to the Fuel Pump Assembly category in our catalog for availability. This is pump motor portion only. For complete fuel pump assembly, order #30 587 077. This is a Fuel Pump Replacement Kit, that includes the Fuel Pump, Strainer, Hoses, Clamps, Electrical Connector, Sleeve, Insulator, etc.. Some modification may be needed to the Fuel Pump Assembly to enable this "Pump Only" to work. This application may need to have the ECU reset in order for the replacement pump to operate correctly. Walbro in-tank SAAB dealers offer the complete fuel pump assembly only. Our offering is for the Bosch pump motor insert only, at a considerably reduced cost. The alternate pump insert offered by Bosch requires considerable modification including enlarging the pump housing/reservoir to hold the larger body of the Bosch pump and replacement of the fuel inlet hose.
