AEM Engine Position Module EPM
If you have wanted to run a coil on plug or a wasted spark ignition, then we highly recommend the AEM Engine Position Module, or also known as the AEM EPM. AEM has released their EPM for popular V8 applications, such as Ford and Chevy, as well as import motors such as Honda and Acura. This AEM EPM offers ultra precise opital engine position which relays back to your engine management an immediate signal, and it does all of this regardless of engine RPM or speed.
It is very easy to install the AEM EPM Engine Position Module, and only requires 4 wires during install. These wires are 12V, or power wire, a ground wire, and then the two main engine crank and cam signal wires.
The EPM easily adapts to any positive-drive, half-engine speed device such as a cam or distributor drive, and can be used with any aftermarket engine management system that recognizes the common 24 & 1 pattern for crank and cam signals.
