AEM Cold Air Intake
An AEM Cold Air Intake relocates the air filter outside of the engine compartment, so ensure that the air is as cold as possible. AEM Cold Air Intakes not only relocate the pipe outside of the engine bay, but they do it with the shortest amount of pipe possible, to ensure the velocity of the air remains high, and the cold air remains cold. Cold air has a higher collection of oxygen, which creates more horsepower and torque. However, on some engines, a longer intake pipe acually causes more horsepower, and AEM has done dyno testing to find the perfect cold air intake for your engine, so it not only creates peak horsepower, but sustainable power through the whole RPM band. The AEM Cold Air Intake is built to ensure that your car's air fuel ratio remains ideal, so you do not get a check engine light, or make less power. What other cold air intake does that?
