AEM Cam Gears allow you to fine tune your engine to increase horsepower and torque and move your powerband up or down. You can adjust the cam gears without having to change your camshafts, and with it's superior design, you do not need to worry about cam gear slip. Not only do AEM Cam Gears look good, but we highly recommend and encourage their use on any engine that has racing components, forced induction, high compression, nitrous or supercharged. With the AEM Cam Gears, you can advance your timing or retard your timing to produce the best peak horsepower, and the smoothest powerband and power delivery. The AEM Cam Gears use the strongest material on the market, ensuring strong cam teeth.

Made in the USA, the AEM Cam Gears come in two designs, one is the multi spoke design which has 5 bolts, which is shown in the picture to the right. Some applications have a 3 bolt design, which is the classis AEM Cam gears. You can tell which cam gear you are going to purchase, by looking at the first number after the dash in the part number. AEM Cam Gears with a 5 bolt have a 8 in the part number, such as (XX-8XX), and AEM 3 Bolt Cam Gears have a 6, such as (XX-6XX).

Depending on the application, the cam gear might look slightly different than the picture.
